Super Mario Party Menu: Serving Up Fun in Grass Land!

When it came time to plan the food for our Mario-themed birthday party, we knew the menu needed to feel like it came straight out of the Mushroom Kingdom. Since our food table was set up in Grass Land, I kept the color palette bright and playful—green plastic tablecloth, a fuzzy artificial grass runner, and a few familiar faces from the game world to make it feel immersive.

A DIY Piranha Plant, balloon Goomba, and a mushroom plush helped set the scene, while yellow coin-inspired plates, red forks, and green napkins tied the whole look together. I designed the food labels in Photoshop using graphics I bought on Etsy and a free Mario font download—and honestly, that little extra effort made everything pop.
Here’s what was on the menu:
Super Star Salad Bar
A chilled buffet of chopped lettuce and tons of toppings served salad-bar style. Bonus points for the ice-cooled acrylic condiment containers that kept everything crisp until dinner time!
Bowser’s Burgers
Cheeseburger sliders topped with mini Bowser flags I made using toothpicks and printable graphics, served straight out of the oven.
Coins on the Cob
Mini corn cobs with a golden shine that felt straight out of a Mario coin block!
Breaded Birdo Tenders
Tyson chicken tenders—nothing fancy, but reliable and always loved. A quick rename and you’ve got an on-theme hit.
Fire Flower Fries
Crinkle-cut fries served hot from the electric chafing dish—perfect for powering up!
Piranha Plant Punch
A basic red party punch turned into a full character moment thanks to a bit of green cardstock, some paper leaves, and white dots cut with a circle punch. A plush mushroom added the finishing touch!

Cheeseburger sliders labeled “Bowser’s Burgers” with black Bowser flag toppers and Goomba balloon on a grassy table runner.
Everything was served buffet-style using my electric chafing dish (10/10 recommend!) and cold condiment servers to make the setup feel seamless and guest-friendly.

Whether your guests are die-hard Mario fans or just here for the food, a themed menu like this keeps things fun, nostalgic, and photo-worthy. The full food spread was located in Grass Land, and later I’ll be linking back to this post when I share the full breakdown of that room’s decor!
